How do I change my forum avatar/profile picture?

Go to your profile page and mouse over the "Edit" button and a menu will magically appear. If you choose "Update my image," you'll be given the option to upload a picture or choose one of the ones we've kindly provided.

There's a box that says "Connections" on my profile. What's it for?

If you move your mouse over the box, you'll get a menu that says "Manage Connections." Connections are just like friends on most social networking sites--our software just uses a weird word for it. They show up in the "Friends" tab of your profile so you can find out if they're online or send them a message without browsing through the whole user list.

What about the "Comments" area at the bottom of my profile?

It's just like the Wall on Facebook or the Comments section of your MySpace page. If you mouse over the "Edit" box at the top of the page and click "Edit my settings," you can disable comments, choose whether or not they require approval before they show up on your profile, and enable email alerts for when someone posts a comment. 

Can I create any kind of group I want?

Within reason. We ask that you keep your groups at least somewhat related to gaming. Also, if your group is about a specific game, make sure it's one of ours. If you want to set up a group for your D&D campaign, use WOTC's bandwith or set up a Yahoo group. If you're not sure if a particular group is acceptable, just ask.

Would you add my web page to your links section?

It depends. If your site is gaming-related, we very well might (if you're selling Viagra, we definitely won't). Just send your URL and a brief description of your site to our webmaster . If we think your site is something our fans would be interested in, we'll add the link. We don't require that you link our page in return, but we would certainly appreciate it.

I'd like for my store to be listed in your "Find a Store" section. What do I have to do?

Stock some of our products. If you order them from us, we'll add you to the list. If you've purchased our products through a distributor, just send us a photo showing Hex products on your store's shelves.
