While Hex isn't as concerned about math and numbers as some game companies, we to strive to make sure that our game rules work and that our settings are consistent. That means playtesting is essential, and the more people we have to offer opinions on the rules, the better. There are several ways you can get involved.
Become a Knome The Knome Forums are our sounding board for new ideas. They're also where we post the earliest excerpts from and drafts of upcoming products—often before we've even announced to the general public that we're releasing said products. If you want the incoming scoop on Hex products, and want to have input from the earliest stages, become a Knome . The Game Feedback Form
If you've played one of our games at a convention or in-store demo, fill out the Game Feedback Form . Even if we have no immediate plans to release a book based on the game you played, your comments will give us a chance get a feel for what people enjoy about Hex convention games and to evaluate our Game Masters. If we do decide to release a book based on a particular convention game, everyone who filled out a feedback form will be listed as a playtester in the credits, so this is your chance for fame and glory. Organized Playtests If your game club or group would like a chance to playtest our upcoming releases, contact us and we'll let you know the next time we have something to playtest. All playtesters (or at least, all whose names we know) will be listed in the credits of the game. Playtesters who provide us with useful feedback are also eligible for fabulous prizes, including free copies of the game and coupons for the Hex online store.
