Hex Games is proud to announce the release of its newest PDF, Herland: Perfect Genetic Utopia, in early November. Herland is a futuristic setting in the tradition of George Orwell's 1984, Aldous Huxley's Brave New World and, most obviously, Charlotte Perkins Gilman's Herland. It's a world where the women live in harmony because all the men have been shipped overseas. But things are not as peaceful as they seem--there's a secret war going on, and the player characters must choose a side.  The PCs can join the Genetic Enforcers, and fight to preserve society, or join the Underground, and try to destroy it.

Herland: Perfect Genetic Utopia is an RPG setting designed for use with the QAGS 2nd Edition rules. The PDF includes detailed descriptions of the Greater North American government and society, as well as description of the Underground rebellion, rules for playing both sides, tips and optional rules for playing an all-female campaign with male players, plot ideas for your campaign, an introductory adventure, sample Words and GMCs, a fancy new character sheet, and hilarious generalizations about the fairer sex.

Herland marks the Hex Games debut of both writer Megan LeBoeuf and artist Veronica Pare. It will retail for $3.99, and will soon be available for sale on this site.
