| Milton Young, the current Special Collections Supervisor, took over the job following Cassius Riley's retirement in 1975. Young is one of the few Quinn librarians without an advanced degree in Library Sciences--he learned his skills in the army, supplemented by a few night classes. "Uncle Miltie" (which fellow staffers never call him, especially to his face) is a natural leader and is well-liked by the special collections staff despite his occasional grumpiness concerning agents who "don't take the job seriously enough." Milton and computers don't get along very well, and he insists that anything important be communicated to him on paper or in person.
