Chief Watch Officer, New Orleans Office
Hank joined the navy in 1972 and became a career soldier. Like many military families, the Redmons moved around a lot. In 1989, Hank was assigned to the Naval Air Station Reserve Base in New Orleans, where he worked until he died from a heart attack in 1996.
With Hank gone and all of her children out on their own, Norma didn't know what to do with herself. She went to work at a local department store and tried to find something to keep her busy, but scrapbooking, crocheting, ballroom dancing, and everything else she tried bored her to tears. When her son Tom, who had joined M-Force a few years before, told her about his team's takedown of a Chud'beth, Norma decided that M-Force might be just what she'd been looking for.
Norma joined the New Orleans office, where her hunting experience and excellent marksmanship made her a valuable agent, but eventually her age and arthritis started slowing her down. Although Norma would have preferred to stay in the field, she was eventually convinced to take on a support role as Chief Watch Officer.
Norma and Hank had four children: Paul (37) is a career marine currently stationed in Iraq; Michael (35) is a real estate agent who lives near Denver with his wife Trish and kids Zack (13), Megan (8), and Bryce (4); Tom (34) is a mechanic and part-time M-Forcer in Dallas (Tom is divorced with one child, David (10)); their only daughter, Beth (32), is an artist who lives near L.A. (Norma suspects that she's gay). Her two sisters, Claire and Phyllis, live in Georgia.
