Rhode Island Crazy Milliard Rayfield
Rayfield is a clean-shaven African-American man. He wears greasy overalls and a crushed straw hat. His pockets are filled with rough sketches, broken stubs of pencils, tools, and bits and pieces of gears and mechanical stuff.

|Rhode Island Crazy Millard Rayfield spends most of his time building Rube Goldberg-esque contraptions, fixing small machines and engines, and planning for more inventions.
Always interested in how machines worked since he was a boy, Millard took any job that could get him around machines. Traveling from Florida to Washington state, he worked as a boiler man and eventually an airplane mechanic.
After Black Friday, he found himself out of work so he took to the rails. He ran into a hobomancer and became his pupil. Due to his interest in machines, the Kind Lady granted him the Contraptioneer power, which he’s used in the time since to good effect.
