The Summit Squadron was a top-secret U.S. government special operations team who performed black ops for the U.S. government during the 1960s. The group was made up of well-known entertainers known to the general public as "The Rat Pack," although they generally referred to themselves as "The Summit." The Summit Squadron was part of a larger movement within the U.S. intelligence community to recruit celebrities to act as covert operatives. It was believed that celebrities would make perfect spies and assassins because they could travel anywhere in the world without raising suspicion and use their fame to gain access to assets and targets who were not easily approachable for more traditional operatives.
The stats for Summit Squadron members given here are circa 1963. Although they were associated with the group, neither Norman Fell nor Juliet Prowse were ever members of the special ops team.
